Fidelity Acquires 1.99% Stake in Lodha Developers for ₹1,864 Crore

US-based Fidelity Investments, through eight of its affiliates including FMRC Fidelity Advisor International Capital Appreciation Fund and FRST II Strat Adv Fide Interl Fund, purchased 1.99 per cent stake in Lodha Developers at an average price of ₹937.85 per share, taking the combined transaction value to ₹1,864.56 crore. The transactions were executed in eight separate tranches on Thursday of the week ending June 25, 2026.

Promoter Entities as Sellers

Two promoter group entities of Mumbai-based Lodha Developers, Hightown Constructions Pvt Ltd and Homecraft Developers and Farms Pvt Ltd, collectively sold the shares at the same price. Following the transaction, the combined shareholding of the promoter and promoter group declined to 70.28% from 72.27%.

Financial Performance Context

In the quarter ended March 2026, Lodha Developers reported a 9 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to ₹1,008.1 crore compared with ₹922.8 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to ₹4,840 crore during the fourth quarter from ₹4,420 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.
